Bio

Claire Wilkes is a Canadian soprano with a haunting crystal clear voice that is light, but strong and cuts through. Her musical influences are 70’s rock, 80’s mainstream, 90’s grunge and female singer/songwriters. She wears her heart on her sleeve in performance, and you will come away moved. Claire is Based in Bragg Creek, Alberta, (half an hour east of Calgary).

Claire sings backing and lead vocals with Calgary’s two time YYC Music Award nominee Brother Bicker Band.. She gained her stage experience from performing with Calgary’s Revv52 performance ensemble from 2012 to 2024, performing on stages such as Carnegie Hall, Canada’s National Music Centre, the historical King Eddy, and the Bella Concert Hall in Calgary. Claire enjoys freelance recording, toplining or gigging with local Calgary artists including Kate Stevens and Mariya Stokes.
